Gen and me were together in the lodge between runs and were both very relaxed. We could feel the positive vibes going around.

I know I can ski a lot better than I did. At the same time, it's not a bad start to the season. And it's great for Frank. It was only a matter of time for him before it came to this.

I know Frankie's got incredible speed in his legs. His equipment for icy conditions is incredible and I wasn't surprised and when I saw him go out of the start gate I knew he could do it.

I may be nearly 32 but I still feel young and motivated. I knew I had the capacity to win.

I left the Olympics still on my appetite to win. I was disappointed with my performance at these last Games but I've remained focused on concluding this season on a positive and strong note.

The last few days, I really made a huge step in my skiing. Before that, I wasn't 100 per cent ready, and that showed in my results.

It's tough, but we train in that kind of weather all the time. You just have to be confident.

It was a good race today. I had nothing to lose and just tried to ski aggressively. Any time you can get two podiums you have to be happy.

It's OK, I'm not satisfied, but it's OK,

(It's not like) swimming, or any sport where the endurance factor is such a big deal. In a sport like skiing, you just get it one day. All of a sudden, you're skiing great, and there may not be a real explanation for that.
